Layoffs : Hillarious

Greatest Poem :Rabindra Nath Tagore

Well guys this is among my favourite poems by one of the greatest poets of all time. We can feel the sincerity and genuiness of the poet in this masterpiece . We are instantly transported to a eutopian world:-
Where the head is held high;
Where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls;
Where words come out from the depth of truth;
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit;
Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever-widening thought and action
…Into that heaven of freedom, myFather, let my country awake.Rabindranath Tagore

Shayari

Well guys am attempting a shot at shyari here I go:-

Parinda Janta Hai ki Voh Jal Jayega ,
Par Galib voh phir bhi shamaa ke pass kyon jata hai
Barkhurdar Tum Kya Janoo , Jalne Mein Jo Mazza Hain
Voh Toh Sirf Parinda Janta Hai.

How to tame errant rikshawalas:- Legal Crusade 3

Well my fellow crusaders continuing with my legal crusade how many times have you found yourself almost 'begging' to Auto Rickshaw/Taxi drivers to ferry you to your destinations only to be replied with a stern no or worse still a disgraceful "Tchhhh"… and at times no response at all ! How many times have you seen tired office goers, ladies with their kids and aged/sick people standing in middle of the road just because no auto/taxi is ready to ferry them to their destination.What you should be knowing is that these Auto and Taxi drivers are 'Public Service Vehicles' and they have NO RIGHT whatsoever to REFUSE a passenger… No matter how short or long the distance the passenger wishes to travel.As per the Maharashtra Motor Vehicles Act, Section 22 (d) 178 (3) (b), "Auto rickshaw driver Refusing to ply for hire" attracts a penalty of Rs. 100, and it goes up to Rs. 200 for a Taxi refusing to ply.In simple terms, if an auto rickshaw or a taxi is plying on the road, with its meter UP showing "FOR HIRE", they will HAVE to go wherever the passenger wants to go, IRRESPECTIVE of the distance.Another fact that most of us are unaware is that we DO NOT need to ASK the Auto/Taxi driver whether he will take us to a particular destination. Instead simply hail an auto/cab and GET IN first and then tell the driver to take you to the desired destination.The Driver cannot ask you to get down from his vehicle. He will have to ferry you to your destination.If he tries to get physical, simply call up 100 from your cell phone and inform them about the location of the auto/cab and the Registration number. If you have complaint against any Auto/Taxi driver who refused to ply to your destination, you can lodge a complain against him using the Mumbai Traffic Police WebsiteClick the link below to lodge an online complaint http://trafficpolicemumbai.org/Complaint%20Form%20aginst%20ART.htmlOr you can simply fax your complaint to 022-24927237,24924734,24925462 You can also email the Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) at jcptraffic@trafficpolicemumbai.org and jcptraffic@gmail.comSO, Don’t take it lying down, don’t take NO for an answer.. Show them that now you are empowered… REMEMBER :FIRST GET IN AND THEN SAY WHERE YOU WANT TO GO.. THE AUTO/ TAXI DRIVER CANNOT REFUSE THEY WILL HAVE TO TAKE YOU WHEREVER YOU WISH TO GO.Forward this to as many Mumbaikars as you can, Let the auto/taxi drivers know that they cant take us for granted anymore.. Show them who's the BOSS !Till then take care.
